The multi-talented singer, songwriter, actress and dancer known as Pink was named Alecia Beth Moore when she was born. Her mother, Judith Moore, is Jewish (fun fact: Judith’s last name before she changed it when she got married was Kugel).
Pink has sold over 135 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling recording artists in the world. She has won three Grammys and seven MTV Video Music Awards. In 2009 Billboard named her the Pop Songs Artist of the Decade. She has also won numerous other awards and accolades.
Pink identifies as Jewish and she has talked publicly about how she tells her children about her family’s Jewish history.
In March 2021 Pink and her husband Carey Hart adopted a dog to add to their family, which already included their daughter Willow (then 9) and their son Jameson (then 4). They announced their new family member, who they named Habañero Mountain Guy Kadashi Hart, on Twitter.
